Organic textures and earthy aesthetics meet in these hand-pressed glass components. Produced by the historic Rutkovsky family, these Cabochon Beads feature a complex Picasso finish that mimics the appearance of natural stone or ancient ceramics. The Multicolor surface, known as Chalk Herbs and Spices Pepper, combines muted grey, beige, and warm spice tones, making each 16 mm glass piece unique. Using traditional Czech glassmaking heritage, the artisans create a smooth, domed surface perfect for focal points in intricate designs that require a touch of bohemian flair.

Beading techniques such as bead embroidery, wire wrapping, or clay setting are ideal for showcasing these flat-back glass gems. For best results when creating bezels, we recommend using Nymo thread and beading needles size 10-12 to secure the surrounding Czech glass beads. The opaque glass base provides a sturdy foundation for layering, allowing jewelry designers to create pieces that evoke a sense of handmade luxury and artisanal craftsmanship. These 16 mm beads are a testament to the family tradition of pressing glass in unique molds to achieve professional results.
